What do you mean by nefarious exactly? I don't get the impression that it's evil...

Getting recommended months and years old posts

That's not what nefarious means.

adjective: nefarious (typically of an action or activity) wicked or criminal. "the nefarious activities of the organized-crime syndicates"

I've been living in "Top # hours" for this reason. Active and Hot are weirdly...not.

Change sorting. "NewComments" and "Top x" are better than Hot and Active atm

Probably once they merge the remaining merge requests: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/pulls

it's currently on Release Candidate 5, so actual release will probably be this weekend

Do you happen to know why v0.18.2 is available in tags, yet not in releases? I see that majority of lemmy instances are running BE 0.18.2.

The releases page doesn't matter, the images are uploaded to docker

Looks like 0.18.3 was tagged just now, so we might see some instances update to it today

I just upgraded without issue. Had to restart docker once it was installed but otherwise it went smoothly.

Yep just upgraded too, no drama

Nice, I gotta try to upgrade mine today (not the one my account is on lol, it's an instance just for communities https://lemmy.mods4ever.com/communities )
