Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

If we had phones with trustworthy software on them, then this would be a nice hardware feature instead of a scary problem...
let's hope that proper free software will win over tech monopolies in the future. Then I can finally sleep well while owning a smartphone that has all kind of "magic" features
Use pinephone ;-) It has hardware switches and runs linux :-p
It also misses calls and texts ":-p". People predominately want reliability from their phone os...
Even worse, it probably eats up a significant amount of battery
I don't want to think about it... And now that all phones have ultra rapid charge I can see batterys just dying as if were iPhones.
Wait until companies start to have this on the phones and laptops they issue
