Tonight, AEW comes from the MVP Arena in Albany, New York! The hour-long card includes:

– A tag-team Battle Royale with the winners earning a shot at the AEW World Tag-Team Championships

– Scorpio Sky vs Kip Sabian

– Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose

Lol I love that Butcher and Blade get a buff in Battle Royales. They always seem to make it pretty close to the end if not final four usually.

Pretty decent Battle Royale. Big Bill and Cage come off looking strong as hell. Wouldn't call many of the teams in this match 'contenders,' though.

Sucks that Scorpio Sky got pulled/injured. Hopefully he's not out too long, he looked like he was going to be a piece of Collision and a wrinkle in the TNT title hunt.

Glad Satnam's in the Battle Royale. I'm guessing either Satnam/Lethal, the Hardy's, or Big Bill/Brian Cage take it.

Money was on Big Bill/Cage from the start.

They got featured in Royal Rampage and even though BTYBB beat them "easily', my headcanon is that MJF paid them off. MJF brought in Big Bill to AEW and he's already paid Brian Cage to injure Danielson before.

Whew, that I'm not sure of. There are so many ways that this could go for all parties.

MJF has his goons as backup

Cole/Roddy have been playing MJF to gain his trust.

Cole could also hit up OGK for a Kingdom reunion

We could even get MJF screwing Cole and Cole getting his Elite friends to help ignoring the double cross.

Punk also has to factor in all of this somewhere. Cole and Punk were both there when Joe injured Roddy which at the time didn't make sense but now it kind of does.

As entertaining as they are, I just don't think MJF and Cole should win the tag titles especially against the best tag team in the world that has been teaming for years.

I love the options. One thing I wanted to add: to keep the MJF/Cole team going strong, maybe Roddy "accidentally" interferes, costing them the match tonight? It could be a way to keep things smooth between MJF/Cole, assuming TK wants to keep them together and milk his new cash cow lol.
