Check the error. You want www.hexbear.net instead

It could be becuase they are using a non-standard version of Lemmy, if the www trick doesnt work, since they are on BE: 0.18.2.hexbear

They are defederating /c/fediverse/comments/2475933 (sorry, on mobile and don't know how to effectively format the link atm)

That's a different thing, Lemmy.world is defederating from hexbear. Here, the problem is to connect directly to hexbear.
