A paranormal-sounding phenomenon is scarily common in British Columbia, where a new survey found more than half of residents have been "ghosted" by someone in their lives.

I don't understand the point of this article. Are they not even going to mention anything about why this survey was done and what came of it? All I got from this is that people get ghosted, and some people get ghosted a bit more often than others.
