I kind of had part 1 of my weekend yesterday and this morning. Now that I've mostly recharged and got a second wind of energy I'll be working late into the night at my own pace. I can see and think clearly now that I know I won't get any more emails until Monday...

Gonna make a simple pasta with onion, garlic, Sirena tuna and broccoli and chuck in some chipotle in adobo sauce for something out of left field. Then on to the next stage of compiling all this stuff together.

I just remembered I dropped a piece of chicken last night while I was cooking. Today it is no where to be seen. 😲

Gah. When I went outside to close the gates just now the wind had blown over the bin and the bag of rubbish, and in the dim light it looked like someone had collapsed on the path.

Thank god it’s the weekend, it was a long day at work, particularly since it was supposed to be my day off. I hope we at least see a little sunshine ☀️ sometime during the weekend.

If you had $5000 to spend on yourself what would you spend it on? Not including bills nor can you give it away. Totally self indulgent. I'd go straight to the book shop, then the pub and then uber home with my books.

Sky sort of pretty, but I don't like the forecast. Laundry might have to be Sunday unless I run out of socks.

In other news, I have been informed that my bike is now ready to pick up from bicycle hospital. It sprang a leak in the back wheel on Wednesday which has now been fixed. For the princely sum of $40 or thereabouts. Love livin' in the inner north.

Lunch has been achieved. Just the usual pb on toast ( sans buerre ) . ( still hungry 🥺 )

My brain cannot word today. I sat through meetings wording like a toddler.
