About to head off on a 12 day backpacking trip on which I expect to be on the trail from sunrise to sunset, or close enough.

How do you manage your flysheet when on a trip like this? Pack it up in the morning and forget about it until setting up camp that night? Or lay it out during a midday stop if the weather's dry?
