This was exactly my teens, but I'm lucky that my mother quickly understood once it got bad enough and changed. She now does more than I'd ever ask and wish for, and I wouldn't be here without her.

It's a disability not a illness.

You can't "get better" from it like you can an illness

Neurodevelopmental disorders fall under the mental ilness/disorder category. It doesn't mean it's curable.

Do I have an illness? No definitely don't. It's an executive function disorder.

Just cos some textbooks says it an illness doesn't mean the text book is right
