and it just feels good to feel like youre better than other people for something innate. especially if youre a pathetic loser with no accomplishments in life. bigotry is a cheap way to feel good about yourself.
I mean that's why they fight so hard against actually talking about history. Because then it hollows out what little they can brag about and exposes the privilege they had with the rest.

Kinda stupid too because the Germanic tribes were Rome's go-to for mercenaries. They were extremely well respected warriors during Roman expansion.

Yeah. It's pretty consistent that almost all of the bigots who spout this nonsense don't care about the piece of media they're complaining about. Some don't even know anything about the games/shows/movies they complain about and then complain about wokism when they see a screenshot.
I mean it makes sense why that is. It never was about the love or appreciation about a piece of fiction. If you're looking at Pokemon as a way to escape black and brown people, you never really cared about Pokemon.
I just hate that these shitheads invade fan communities and drown out valid criticism with their woke agenda.

It's really frustrating they don't have closed captions available, though. I find it so strange that many videos put out by big corporations have the auto CC disabled but don't provide their own, making them consistently less accessible than videos put out by individuals (many of whom also go through the trouble of providing high-quality manual captions)...it's just a big middle finger to HoH/Deaf people. I can understand not wanting to lean on auto subs if they say something weird that will reflect negatively on your brand or w/e, but professional closed captioning would be a rounding error for any of these professional productions. We really ought to expand the regulations to capture this kind of streaming-only content.

My question is who the fuck these animators think they are, disney, pixar, Gravity Falls? If they wanted to use cartoon style animation why not use images from the cartoon animation of the IP (with POC, that isn't the issue, the issue is artstyle changes lol).
