How can you trademark "App store", I find it too generic to be able to prohibit others from using it. Won't stop Apple trying though I guess!

Under German law it is possible that a brand name becomes a generic name if the population uses it enough. It happened to Tempo, for example.

Flutter is awesome but I am not sure if it is best for a Linux only application which the Ubuntu Store will be.

I wish the Ubuntu creators and give up on snaps and just embrace Flatpaks and Nix packages.
