Original Title: serious Why most people believe that 'non human intelligence' aka 'gods', 'angels', 'spirits' are visiting Earth and interacting with humans but somehow the same people are dismissive of the idea that aliens can visit Earth? Double standards?

Why most people believe that 'non human intelligence' aka 'gods', 'angels', 'spirits' are visiting Earth and interacting with humans but somehow the same people are dismissive of the idea that aliens can visit Earth? Double standards?

What's the driving force behind this logic? Why they choose to believe in visits by non human intelligence, however only if they will turn out to be gods or supernatural religious beings? Why not visits by aliens?

There is no proof of any gods, miracles and supernatural phenomenon. They were never captured on video, photo or radar. And yes, I understand that neither were aliens. But existence of aliens don't require any supernatural miracles, just evolution process on one of trillions of other planets.
