I have a Le Cruset crepe pan that just has all this black stuff burnt to it. Happened the first time I used it and I haven't been able to get it off. Any tips for removing it? Or should I try for warranty because I think the pans themselves are meant to have lifetime, the coating only so long

If you can scrape a bit off with your fingernail then you might have a chance of cleaning it. If you can't then it means it's baked on and almost impossible to remove.

$&@&$ we came from from a rather fun party to find the cats had declared war on each other and i wasted my entire fucking weekend with a migraine. Currently locked in the lounge toom with a shrieking cerys because we just did the zone swap and everything smells like misha and she's mad about it

I think I used up all my gardening mojo yesterday. Unless I get a late burst of enthusiasm the plants for the front yard will have to wait until Wednesday. Hopefully the air conditioned comfort of my lounge room for a few days won't make them too soft.
