Who is this guy? What happened? What did he do?

It's Ecce Homo, a fresco depicting Jesus with thorns

I was genuinely asking.
I'm talking about the original photo. Who is this guy and what did he do to get people talking about "his smile"

Medical insurance company CEO was murdered and people on the internet sympathize with the killer instead of the victim. Here's more https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Brian_Thompson

I assumed this was sarcasm. But it’s possible someone was living in a cave for the past several days. 🤷

He did the world a favor, and for some reason the wealthy are getting upset!

So he killed a CEO, and the internet loves it, cuz eating dead meat it more accepted than eating living meat?

to explain better, the guy who got killed was the CEO of UnitedHealthcare (UHC). UHC is the US health insurance company that falsely denies claims the most, meaning a whole bunch of people died because the company didn't cover what it should have.

so (very) basically, ceo of the company that kills the most people in the us got killed and people are happy about it, since the killing means that all insurance companies are gonna be really scared to deny any claims from now on. and that means a lot of people who would have died, now won't

Wait, I know this guy! He's super into wine. Like... SUPER into it.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

Oh yeah, I know him too. He's a friend of mine. And yeah, wine's literally in his blood
