Work is slow today (yay), I've done most of my 200 pages of textbook reading (boo) so now I'm making a list (of things to do to the house to prepare to sell to move back home) and checking it twice.
Cool running infographics time. Thru Runalyze (free tier).
Really f-ing hurt my toe in August. Took a while to get back to it. Yellow is my first 10k FunRun which was indeed fun.

We did 4 Christmas movies today and I couldn't be happier.

You know the other day when I brought up the topic of alternative milk? Well the brave man went out to run some errands and bought back coffees. Apparently our Coles express ran out of milk so oat milk it is. Not bad. Not good either.
If lucky numbers pop into my head, I'll let youse know!
I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow, and for those of us who struggle during this time, I hope you can find some peace โค๏ธ
Also if anyone here plays Destiny 2 please let me know because I'm desperate for a buddy to play with.
Crap gardening spot ramble
5 of the 6 marigold seedlings are still alive (the 5th might be dead due to being stepped on by a workman). Maybe 1 of the sunflowers came up. Some of the alyssum might be coming up but unsure. One of the nasturtiums came up.
It doesnโt seem they do well direct sown, probably because the spot is a sandy dust bowl and I donโt go out there often enough to keep the seeds moist. Theyโre fairly drought tolerant but probably need to be a bit more established first.
Suspected that so Iโve already been raising more in paper cups and a foil tray and today planted out 3 nasturtium seedlings I grew inside. The mix of nasturtium, alyssum and sunflowers I sowed in the foil pan show signs of things coming up. I also got some kind of poppies.
I wish Iโd been able to weed and dig over the dirt properly but I donโt think I can plus thereโs a weird hard compacted layer of sand that would be difficult to break through. And that stupid tree is still sucking everything up and obstructing with its roots. Even if the plants were safe there (theyโre kind of not - hence cheap disposable annual seeds) and I was (Iโm not - hence limited trips out there) it would take a bit of work and time to make it suitable for growing food.
I wish Iโd done this with natives and maybe later I will.
But I saw another native bee buzzing around my zucchinis so I might be getting somewhere.
I've had a bad success rate with sunflowers, and I can usually grow anything.
Made a fillet o fish sandwich for dinner tonight.
Very yummy indeed.
Might put a movie on later tonight depending on my mood.
Watched Challengers last night. Wasnโt bad but Iโm definitely not a fan of all of the time skipping in it. Didnโt enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
