CCTV footage showed two people approaching a fast food outlet with a jerry can of flammable liquid and attempting to set the shop alight.
So this like a gangland thing yeah?
This is pretty common, especially when using petrol/gasoline as the accelerant. There's two big mistakes people seem to make:
- they'll start the fire then pour on the accelerant and the fire will travel back up the stream because it's not a ghost
- they don't realize that the fumes are also flammable, so the fire can easily jump from the pooled accelerant via the evaporating gas to them and the container of more accelerant they're holding, resulting in an exciting light show if you're outside of the blast zone
Er, some problems solve themselves? Is there a more inflammatory way to call for mental health care?

While on a fishing camp at lake Eucumbene I watched the next camp over on their last night try to burn their remaining 2-stroke fuel
They upended the fuel tank above the fire, setting fire to the fuel tank
The man then dropped the tank and kicked it away, lighting up his shoe
His mates extinguished him
In other words, ha-de-fucking-ha.
