Whilst horrible for the worker this change solves nothing, such a knee jerk short sighted descion.
IDC, Coles is not the place you'd think to go buy a knife. There's been a few stabbings at my local Coles over the years. I found a torn open knife packet in the store one time and alerted police who were already there for that incident.
