It is a game that encourages boinking the heads of moles to score points when they pop out before they go back in to hide.

One could argue it's bad because it normalizes violence towards the animals but on the other hand it's just a game.

Not a vegan, but I don't see how such a nonsensical game could possibly be thought to normalize harm to animals.

That's like donkey Kong promoting harm to gorillas, or Mario bros harm towards turtles.

Unless something in the brain isn't wired properly, these obviously cartoonish and completely removed from reality games shouldn't elicit a desire to harm anything.

Now, something like the 'realistic' scenes in Caddyshack, that's something else.
