Wow, theyre just dropping these characters into the game? I thought they were a ways off, especially magician (now sinclair). Nice to see some more variety.
And of course this happens on the weekend I'm without a GPU due to having to RMA it.

It was about time we got some new heroes, fingers crossed this is the shot in the arm the game needed. As someone who hasn't played a single minute of Hero Labs I can't wait to explore these.
A little bit miffed about the way Sinclair's ult works. Having it behave like Rubick's (can copy any ability, but will only copy whatever the target most recently used) would be both more fun, balanced and introduce a higher skill ceiling to it. Clutch Rubick reaction-steals are always hype and I could see the same being true for competitive Deadlock.
I want to like the game so bad but it runs like shit on linux. I installed windows to play at a lan party and tried it out. Runs perfectly. in the main menu the shaders compile so much faster too.
either linux gaming still isn't there yet or valve just forgot how to make games
Damn that’s sad to hear since I want to move over to Linux and will be doing to when they stop supporting windows 10.
With the game still being a play test I’m hoping they’ll try to optimize it better on Linux for the full release.
Same here. I'm hopeful because it's valve but looking at other devs and publishers I feel like they're just gonna do what they do. Pump out unoptimized crap...
I was playing on linux for awhile and didn't notice any issues after I switched to DX11 ... or 12? It's been a while since I've played. Also had it on medium settings and whatnot, but that's just because i'm on older gear.
Glad to see they dropped new hero’s finally. I think it’s what the game needed to draw more players back and I know it sounded like hero labs was pretty dead so think they might as well just drop the hero’s into matchmaking and balance them that way, it is still technically a play test after all.

Calico wasn’t what I thought. The 3 (turn into Cat) won’t work if you get shot until 5 sec after which makes it pretty useless. The other 3 moves are strong but feel clunky to me. Surprisingly Holliday is the one I think I may add as my 3rd chooses but haven’t actually played her in a match yet
Might need to try calico, turning into a cat and healing a ton looks hella fun especially since the other abilities looks strong.
Sinclair looks like he’ll be a high skill ceiling character. Turning enemies into rabbits is pretty funny too.
