I (19M) work at a convenience store in Tonbridge, UK. The area I work in has a reputation for being quite rough in general, and there's usually a lot of drug addicts and dealers hanging around on an average day. I work the afternoon/evening shift (2pm-10pm), which is when most of the lunatics come out to play.
Literally tonight (18/01/2025), I was working by myself on the till, when I heard a lot of shouting from outside. Given how loud it was, I go up to the window to see what's going on. From what I heard clearly, I presume there was some sort of botched drug deal going on. Anyway, the shouting eventually stops, and two dodgy-looking guys walk past the shop. I quickly move away from the window, but evidently not quick enough, as one of them notices me, strides up to the window and screams "What are you f**king looking at?"
I ignore the guy, and proceed to help a customer with their purchase, all the while he keeps screaming abuse at the window. The customer is becoming more unnerved by the second, so, excusing myself, I walk back up to the window and tell the guy to leave. That's when he drops the bombshell insult of, and I quote, "Go lick your mum's ct, you four-eyed fking cmstain." He then spits on the window and storms into the store. At this point, I signal toward my manager on the shop floor. My manager, for reference, is chilled out and wouldn't hurt a fly, but is also a huge, intimidating-looking bloke, who can scare away any shoplifter with one look. As the angry guy strides in, my manager approaches him, blocking his path toward me, and in a complete badass move, says "Get the f*k out of here, and don't come back" in a calm, but furious voice. The angry guy then looks terrified, and flees, never to be seen again.
