Damn. I saw an article about that yesterday and added it to my wishlist. It looks cool as hell
Kinda confused how it’s RuneScape like at all?
I guess the inventory and gear pages give me rs vibes. Looks jank enough to be fun so I’ll give it a shot
Yeah ... Brighter Shores is the true RuneScape successor, though the end game activities aren't implemented yet (i.e. procedurally generated dungeons and bossing and tons of other content).
This game seems nothing like RuneScape.
Thanks for the tip! Looks like Brighter Shores is headed by none other than Andrew Gower himself, so it's probably the most RuneScapiest RuneScape successor lmao
FlyKnight kinda looked like RuneScape, but I think I'd rather try out Brighter Shores lol
Brighter Shores is interesting, but I think it was too early to really grab me. I think it just needs more time to cook.
Ran super smooth on my SteamDeck last week when I tried it.
It feels strange to call a first person game a runescape like.
graphics and UI-wise, it definitely gives me runescape vibes, even if the gameplay is totally different.
I see it. I'll just be really pedantic and say that sounds like 'runescape themed'. Just like we have rogue themed games and rogue-likes. Roguelikes don't need to be about rogues because the -like suffix is about gameplay.
