Getting some more snow right now which is nice. We haven't really had a real winter this year.

Having a second week of winter here in TX.

I'm really annoyed at climate change, because I live here mostly because it doesn't get or stay cold and yet here we are again, with my freezing my ass off and running up my gas bill, while hoping that the power grid doesn't decide it's too cold to work.

It just stopped raining. We need more rain before winter ends and we need a lot of it. I went on a short hike last Saturday and our nearby reservoir was barely a quarter full. Our state is gonna BURN this summer if we don't get serious rain soon.

Rain in southern California as expected. The fires were due to the same push and shove turbulence that leads to rain here every year after the solstice. It will probably be a wet year and landslides around LA in the news cycle in the next 2 months

Lots of snow storms suddenly hitting, makes it acrualy feel like winter now! Been a normal week otherwise, steady at work and avoided getting sick thus far! Pretty decent week all in all.

Valentine's day today so I plan on seeing the better half and spending the weekend with em.

Had snow on the ground all Jan, now it's freezing rain which is fairly rare for us. Supposed to get another round of it over the next few days

I've had the flu the entire week. It's still not done, and it's not getting better. At one point, I had a fever of 100.9 after taking DayQuil and 400mg ibuprofen, before the medicine it was 103.

I can't go to urgent care because I didn't schedule my urgency 2 weeks in advance, silly me. So if I want to see a doctor, it's $700+ at a "standing emergency room", because my workplace insurance has no copays, meaning it pays for none of my treatment until it hits deductible. The deductible is $3200. So I have insurance, it just doesn't do anything. And I really wish I could have a 1 on 1 in person meeting with the anthem CEO to talk about it.

I've lost 11 lbs since sunday and the back of my throat is so solidly red and white you would think I starred in a gangbang.

Meanwhile, the institutions that protect Americans are getting ripped apart by an unelected billionaire and his useful idiot.

At this point, I'm both literally and figuratively looking for a hill to die on.
