The US republican admin "efforts" thus far, pieced together from news articles and opinion pieces:

Ukraine loses every occupied territory
Ukraine signs deal giving US(Trump and Co.) half of whatever's left of their minerals
Ukraine stops all attempts to join NATO, EU or any other acronym that threatens Russia's feelings
A demilitarized zone set up on Ukraine's remaining territory that Russia can patrol (rob) at will to make sure it stays demilitarized.
US( Trump and Co.) makes a deal with Russia for exploiting the newly acquired resources on occupied territory.
Immediate elections are held in Ukraine with no EU interference, but very much with Russian supervision
Zelenskyy probably to be sent to Russia for "trial"
"Denazification" of Ukraine army aka getting rid of it entirely or replacing it with Russian loyalists.

... So yeah, much "effort" on their part...
