The solution is clearly to buy more objects.

Or melt down the old ones and use their plastic to make new stuff. And then sell the new stuff.

Depends on the object. If that's a new computer I'd be pretty happy

There are actually objects that make me happy, but I have to think hard to be able to know before buying.

An example are potted plants for my balcony. Not all survive years, but it's nice to watch them grow and see which make it through the winters. Also, my big 4K screen has increased my fun every day.
