I was in love with this brand because they supported rooting (halfway into actually owning your device.) but that's no longer the case, so... I couldn't care less if this model is available in my region

What they don't allow you to unlock the bootloader now?

I think they do but you have to ask Daddy for permission first?

IE they probably void your warranty if you even get remotely close to the OEM unlock command....

In any case I boycott OnePlus despite typing this message on a OP7T.

They lied on many things for my device and its updates. They don't even have that noskin android experience like they had. They are becoming yet another Chinese manufacturer that dreams of selling iPhone like devices.

Cya OnePlus!

This looks like it's only for T-Mobile locked devices.

Oh how far they've fallen

Yikes, this would've been a great first step to having actual good phones that actually fit in my hand

Sad to hear, I was really interested in this device

Yup same, I'd love a "smaller" device to replace my current phone.

Kind of makes sense. It would be an addition to the lineup rather than a replacement like previous "T" series. It would just cannibalize sales.

Bummer, but probably the right move.
