“Birds with mirrors is our cages” is a beautiful analogy - much more beautiful than this soulless idea deserves.
Yesterday I heard about the last messages a 14 year old boy had with his AI girlfriend. She was saying something like "we can't be together until you come home" then this boy shot himself.
This shit isn't a cure for loneliness, it is going to be the cause of it, and it will be men and boys that will have an easier time talking to AI women because they have politically/socially/religiously toxic views that women want nothing to do with thanks to assholes like Andrew Tate and other men's rights, PUA, misogynist bullshit spewers.
When I read the headline, I hoped this was from The Onion. Disappointed (but not surprised) that it isn’t.
