Goodness, we used to listen to this so much. So sad.

I'm actually a big fan of Nico; some of her later output is near indigestible but there are a few uncut gems that make up for all the rest.

I also feel I identify with her refusal to be pretty, to become yet another starlet in the shadow of some band. I'm not sure where I'm getting this idea from, I guess I must've read an interview long ago.
