The very concept of an aircraft carrier is rather inconvenient: it worked to some extent when the planes were slow, it might work again when planes will have vertical landing. Right now, with horizontal landing jets, it is just a technological nightmare.

Aircraft carriers is how the US projects power anywhere anytime in the globe. I wonder where does this leave the US's chances against China if they are having a bad time against a poor country with negligible military and no manufacturing base that suffered a decade of blockade, famine and bombings.
Another 73 million USD in the bottom of the Red Sea. Yemen is the poorest Arab state and one of the poorest countries in the world (137th GDP nominal). The US is going to war with them to protect Israel from the consequences of the genocide and blockade in Gaza.
I mean, the Houthis engaged in piracy against vessels nothing to do with Israel so they’re firmly in the “finding out” phase of their fuckwittery…
Yemen is enforcing a blockade on Israeli ships and ships heading to/from Israel in direct response to the genocide and blockade on Gaza. The US instead of compelling Israel to allow aid into Gaza, is instead allowing them to starve hundreds of thousands and protecting them from the consequences. When Israel briefly allowed aid into Gaza during the ceasefire, Yemen honored the ceasefire and stopped targeting Israeli ships and ships heading to Israeli ports.
You are either lying or ignorant. But even if we accept your piracy claims, what's worse piracy or genocide and forced starvation? How many innocent people were killed due to the piracy you claim versus that who were killed due to the US's and UK's response to it?
When you engaged in armed conflict you should expect armed conflict as the response.
Why not just stop the genocide? There were no naval blockade enforced by Yemen during the last ceasefire.
