More like a macOS/iPadOS combo. I was at a store earlier, and was checking some of the tablets they had, at first I thought I was using an iPad before realizing it was a Huawei. On the plus side it is nice to see diversity in operating systems as it is not Linux kernel based and has its own micro kernel design. On the negative it is closed source and proprietary so I'm personally sticking with GNU/Linux.

@PanArab oh wow this is actually super interesting I didn't realize HarmonyOS was taking this approach of the system supporting mobile and desktop together. I want to play with it I wonder if there's any emulators for it yet

I tried it out briefly an hour or so ago on a tablet. At first glance I thought I was using Apple's iPadOS. It is very similar to it. This laptop version looks pretty much like it but it has what looks like a taskbar with a notification area instead of a dock.

@PanArab I need to look into how the apps are even made its pretty crash that it's a whole new OS
