Green representing water has me a little confused, but I guess having blue be the sky makes sense too

There are parts of the ocean that look rather green, or even lakes full of algae, so I guess it can work when you think of it that way

Water is colorless, so a culture can reasonably pick any color to represent it. Green makes some sense too, because water makes things green through plants
