I think the next scary movie will be an optimistic one about the future where we use AI for good.

It will scare people with the thought of what could have been :(

I wonder what the next post apocalyptic craze will be. AGI is supposedly a few years away. Is that next? Is there gonna be a resurgence of terminator movies? (please no they've been overdone to death, resurrected, then killed again)

Or maybe the future of horror is cyberpunk. We're getting there. Brain implants and prosthetics. (I want a Snowcrash movie)
