A good narrator makes a massive difference.

I recently listened to Anxious People by Fredrik Backman. Swedish author, book set in Sweden. What accent did the narrator decide on for the young bank teller?
The most horrible, grating California valley girl. WTF?
It was unlistenable, I had to download the epub.

I often pick audiobooks based on narrator recommendations. I'll have to check these out. Thanks!
