There's an impressive, and seemingly temporary sculpture in Market street.

@mzedp really cool. Looks somewhat like the sculpture that was on Treasure Island for several years (called Bliss by Maya Lin.) Photo of Bliss is from 2011. Looks like a very similar messy bun for hair.πŸ˜† edit: oops, I know I read somewhere that Maya Lin was involved , but yeah, turns out the artist for both pieces is Marco Cochrane…

40 foot tall metal mesh sculpture of a nude woman standing on one foot with the other bent to her knee behind her. The arms are stretched out, one up, one down, giving the impression of being in the middle of a dance move. Hair is in a messy bun. The sculpture is located on a green lawn framed by two palm trees. It's a foggy day. A partial skyline of San Francisco can be seen in the background

How life-like did they make the front?

Given elements of our society are freaked out by ancient statues... I can only imagine what they would say/do about this one...

@[email protected] @[email protected] seemed accurate to me, not that I climbed up for a closer look πŸ˜„

It's San Francisco. Nobody seems to care about the "nudity".
