@[email protected] At the time I was converting the screws to have 1/4" square heads IIRC, so they would match and be used with a couple of other pieces I had made. Also they got a black finish.
Cool.
Yesterday I used a sawzall to cut an inch off a 2-inch bolt that I was holding with a pair of channel locks. So I'm something of a skilled metalworker myself.

@[email protected] That's very cool! The colors caused by heat are amazing. I would forget what I was forging and just take pictures ( not that I could do any forging 😅)
@Star12Mt The colors are quite mesmerizing! I can't take too many close-up photos though or my iPhone (or the case at least) starts to heat up and will want to melt if it is too close. 😅 At least I can stare at the photos I do get.
