Non-compete tremendous are illegal and invalid where I live in Ontario, Canada. If an employet doesn't treat and pay employees well enough to keep them from leaving the they should be allowed to leave.
The rule applies to workers earning at least twice the average local wage in Florida, which is about $140,000 in urban areas, plus those who have access to confidential employer information.
What job doesn't have access to confidential employer information? ๐ค
