Hello, is there a way I can request or create a lemmy.ml community be created? I want to create a lemmy team fortress 2 community to be created through lemmy.ml. is there a possible way to request it?

It's worth noting that [email protected] already exists. You might be better off seeing if they'll give it to you at [email protected].

You could make an account there, create the community yourself and make your other account mod.

I don't know about requesting. Maybe someone with an account could create the community and mod you.

Question as someone new to Lemmy:

Is it not possible to create it on your current instance? Do some instances not allow community creation / have higher requirements for it?

Right, some instances like lemmy.one (which OP is on) and beehaw.org restrict local community creation to admins only: https://lemmy.one/post/41 https://beehaw.org/post/413919
