I was riding the GT1 yesterday when I noticed the front tire was wobbling. It was particularly noticeable when making a turn where the scooter is leaning sideways. When I got back home I discovered the front tire was running at 5 PSI. I check pressure weekly and keep it at 38 PSI. These tires don’t normally lose more than 1-2 PSI per week so it seemed pretty obvious that I got a flat.

I inspected the tire but could not find any obvious area where there was damage. I reinflated the tire and then sprayed it with water but still could not find anything. For now the tire is holding at 38 PSI. But I can’t stop wondering what could have happened to cause the tire to lose so much pressure without any visible damage.

Any suggestions on what else to look for? I have a set of spare tires but at 1,400 miles the tire is still in good shape so I’d rather not replace it if I can figure out what’s wrong with it. It does have sealant in it so it may be fine going forward but it’s really bugging me that I can’t figure out what happened.
