Ok there is something deeply weird here. Why would a propaganda show allow a Pole on to tell truth about Polish views AND broadcast it. I'm pretty sure it's not live

Yeah, when I have seen people talk out of turn in the past, they get spoken over quite heavily. My guess is either a) the reality of the situation is too apparent, so lying about it is pointless, and/or b) the Kremlin continues to paint themselves the victim with the world against them with this Polish truth happening to work with second half of the narrative.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

Option b seems more likely on behaviour to date I think ?

Why not? In this particular case, Kremlin's propaganda narrative of Poland being anti-Russian is only strengthened.

Was it actually a mistake by Ukraine, or was it a false flag fail? I mean either way, there's no way Poland is going to stop helping Russia get punched in the dick.

IMHO it was hard negotiations with the use of international mechanisms. By the way, Poland never said that it will completely stop helping Ukraine.

This worked for me. Firefox on Windows. Thanks!

This worked for me. Firefox on ~~Windows~~ Linux.

Same

That just shows that Firefox is superior. ;-)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

It is. But it still has its quirks and potential to be even better.

For example this: x

If I click the text it opens an empty page pointing at the file with "No video with supported Format and MIME found". But if I expand it by clicking the symbol the video works. (that's the original link for this post...)

So I can sadly understand if less tech-inclined people complain about Firefox when something like this happens.

I think you don't need to mirror the file. Just putting the original link here already fixes it. Links directly pointing to the mp4 file seem to be handled differently than the link being embedded (and expanded by clicking the symbol) here (tested below)

I'm not OP, but it won't let me see that link without signing into Kbin.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

OP's link didn't work Ooops' link didn't work, but yours did so thanks.

"No video with supported format and MIME type found" on MacOS Firefox.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

There seems to be a problem (across several platforms, but mainly Firefox) with recognizing the exact file format if the link is directly pointing to the mp4 file instead of having the video embedded on a page. Try saving the link as file and watch it from there.

PS: And as a test. Does this work? It's the same link, but now obviously here inside the page.
