I am also partial to "lemmings"
Anything fediverse related has my vote. Lemmy is bigger than just Lemmy, after all. Another thread about this had fedittor, fedinauts, fedis, fedizens, threaditor and more. Personally, I'm partial to fedizen.
EDIT: Fedditor is also pretty good. Says where we came from and where we are.

I don't think fedinaut is a particularly good-sounding general term, but I am going to insist to personally called a fedinaut by all three people that will ever have a reason to call me so.

What's the need for the special secret handshake? I really think that's one of the silliest things of reddit culture that would be great to just leave as we switch over to here.
Let's not gatekeep but instead meet each other in friendship and non-toxcicity.
If we have to have a special name though, @Pk_thunder@lemmy.ml with Lemmings has my vote.
@BrooklynMan@lemmy.ml also good with fedizen. I actually think that's really even better.

They control the narrative to who we are to the outside world. Likening ourselves to mindless Lemmings, does no one any favours. It just takes one incident to kill a movement. Remember the dog-walking fiasco?
