The conglomeration of artists and hobbyists on the discord of the fan community of manga artist Nihei remade the first chapter of his manga "Blame!", each member redrawing a different page of the chapter. This one was mine!

Very nice! I don't know this manga, could you recommend it?

Thanks! It's a kind of unusual manga, very little dialogue and a rather vague story, but absolutely stunning visuals and endlessly expansive architecture. Personally, I love it and would recommend it, if you're up for lots of concrete.

No-one's ever quite sold me on something with that condition before! I'll give it a try.

For a taste of the Blame! universe you can also check out the movie (on Netflix).

That said the manga is really good, but with incredibly little dialog.

Nihei also wrote Knights of Sidonia.

If I remember it right, Nihei studied to become an architect, and it shows in the Mangas he's written and drawn.

Anyone know where we can find the other panels? Just in discord?

Ah, of course, the whole chapter was uploaded here, as an archive.

Thanks! This is the first picture where I used the compositor extensively. And really, this was only because of the new Real Time Viewport Compositing, I'd have been to lazy otherwise.
