Hmm. We don't actually have a drill, and it looks rather expensive (by our standards) to get one.

But there's a makerspace somewhat nearby and I bet they have drills. Maybe they even have a screw extractor set on hand. We should pop over there.
A makerspace is your best bet yeah
Search for "spiral screw extractor" at your favorite hardware store. They're a godsend, even for small laptop screws.

Not for the extractor itself, I believe. But it would need to be drilled to begin with so the extractor fits.
I've tried the rubber band method when I used to do hardware repairs but never had much success.
drill it out would be my advice as well
