This is what The Record will tell you for free:

KITCHENER — A teenaged cyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Kitchener on Thursday morning.

Waterloo Regional Police said the 18-year-old female was involved in a collision with a sedan at Strasburg Road and Selkirk Drive, near McLennan Park, shortly before 11 a.m.

And this is what is behind the paywall:

The cyclist was taken to an out-of-region hospital with possible serious injuries. The 76-year-old man driving the car wasn’t hurt.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Traffic Services Unit at 519-570-9777 ext. 8856.

Who wouldn't pay for such hard-hitting, informative and insightful reporting???!!!INTERROBANG
