Something I want to get going here on a weekly basis! Make your own post with a picture of your sourdough starter! I'm hoping to make sundays Sourdough Sundays so if you bake sourdough yourself, let's post some beautiful (or maybe not so!) Loafs tomorrow!

This is a starter I've been on/off feeding for just over 2 years now. Longest it went without food was a month or two in the fridge believe (oops) and I typically feed it by discarding all of it except what sticks to the bottom of the jar and adding 80g/ml water and sealing the jar, shaking vigorously then topping off with 100g AP flour and stirring with a spatula.

The day before I intend to bake, I feed 100g/ml water and 100g flour.

When I use the starter in a dough, I always use the entire jar and clean it, taking a portion of the dough during the autolyse resting period to feed the following morning!
