Just replace it with "fella."

[–] Janx@piefed.social 19 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Now, I ain't sayin' she a gold digger,

But she ain't messin' with no broke fellas.

Hmm. I don't know if that works. It sounds like a radio edit or a Kidz Bop cover...

You can use Diggas but only works if you speak german.

(Digga is a german slang word that translates to something like “Friend” or “Bro” or “Homie”, got nothjng to do with the n word it comes from Dicker which means like “thick (ie. good) friend)

I realise it sounds like I’m taking the piss but I’m serious lol.

It means something similar in Australian English as well, as in the actual word "diggers". Popularised in WW1 to do with Australians digging trenches.

*Elmo sings his favorite song*

I'm stickin' ice picks on the tip of ya dick
Give your testicles a swift kick,
ain't that some shit?
Am I hard hard core?
Harder than the Plymouth
It ain't no myth,
it's a fella with a spliff
And a chrome four-fifth
pressed on ya back
So what you want, fella?
How you wanna act?
I hope civilized
cause I love to see fellas die
Brains all leakin'
out on the street
And the pastor preaching,
"He was a good man."
Played the bad man
when the burner was in his hand
Now he's singin' sad songs with Elvis
Three to the head,
bout six cross the pelvis
You fuck with the high guy, ya die
Yeah the same motherfucker yelling,
"Look up in the sky!"
I'm on some old neck shit,
Suplex shit
Hardcore sex shit,
and Tec shit

What you want, fella?

I've heard to replace it with "neighbor"

[–] RaoulDuke85@piefed.social 3 points 1 day ago

Neighbors With Attitude

[–] LogicalDrivel@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 day ago

Neighbor, please...

"Shame on a fella who try to run game on a fella."

It sort of works?

Fella with a hard R.

[–] hash@slrpnk.net 8 points 1 day ago

I cannot claim to have not said it. My intoxicated ass has let some kickass quotes slip out. But nobody has heard me say it and they never will.

What if Elmo is just watching his favorite Quentin Tarantino movie?

[–] MidsizedSedan@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

CinemaSins may suck as a channel overall, but the ending of their video on The Hateful 8 made me realise how over-the-top Tarantino is

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

No, Elmo, you can't say it with a hard R, okay? You have to say "cracka".

:)

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ninja is also acceptable but only really fitting for the Wu Tang Clan

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

What's wrong with "ninjar"??

;-)
