Create this post so people can follow and post with consistent format. You can still create your own LFG post with specific region, queue mode, rank requirements, etc. This is a thread to tell a bit about yourself, like when you started playing.

Format:

  • Epic/Platform ID:
  • How long you played rocket league:
  • Which region/time zone you play from:
  • You current/most used car body and why:
  • A secret ritual you do to keep win streak going:
  • Which map/workshop you currently play to practice and warm up and why? (include settings you use, ie. no unlimited boost, lower gravity with bakkesmod etc.)

  • Epic/Platform ID:

PenguinTD

  • How long you played rocket league:

I've played since Rocket League is released 1st day as PSN Plus monthly free game. I have about 3000+ hours combined(PSN/Steam).

  • Which region/time zone you play from:

NAW, PST/PDT. I queue both NAW NAE.

  • You current/most used car body and why:

Insidio, cause it looks nice and the hitbox fits quite well as a hybrid body type.

  • A secret ritual you do to keep win streak going:

I do the quick heel tapping on my floor like a drum, drink water and spam the ball cam toggle during kick off count down.

  • Which map/workshop you currently play to practice and warm up and why?

I use the air dribble challenge map with bakkesmod to tweak gravity to learn how to get better control of the ball mid air, with air roll left as well. I usually start with 70% of the default value and then gradually increase back too default and see if I can still hit the same time. Say, if I can land 12 seconds, then I increase to 80% and try to repeat that, until I can hit it in default gravity. It does help me to get more confident approaching ball mid air and get the first touch better if I want to retain control of the ball instead of hitting it away. Even hitting away I can also "aim" better with lots of mid air hit practice.
