ESPN Sources: In the first major domino of free agency, Toronto Raptors All-Star guard Fred VanVleet has declined his $22.8 million player option and will become an unrestricted free agent in July.

Wojnarowski says VanVleet hasn't ruled out working out a new deal with the Raptors, but he could become an attractive target for a contender.

It's time to move on. He's a helluva player, and I hope hes got another good run in him, I'll be cheering loud, but it's time to move on and assemble the next generation of building blocks.
