We use them at work. They are quite handy, as the can transfer different amounts of power, data and pneumatic as well as optical signal.

So you're saying I can use these for blood vessels, oxygen, nervous system and actuators when I finally built a transhuman protogen body???

Yes, if you got the space for them. They are HUGE

If the Matrix taught me something, is we have a lot of unused space on our backs...

Pneumatics!!?? What is the point of integrating everything like this? Can I use these cables as a garden hose as well?

"without objective morality, everything is permissible"

For Industrial cells. its great to make the cells modular, for example, you have a universal trayloading cell and a process specific cell. You can just use the universal trayloading cell for every other process specific cell without changing anything on the hardware as its just plug and go (And teach in but oh well). No unplugging pneumatic hoses somewhere in the middle of machine

I don't even understand what I'm looking at and I want absolutely nothing to do with that bullshit 😅

Protogen blood vessels

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 years ago

yeah but think about how modular and backwards compatible they are

What do you need it for?
