"The Devil's Playground," by Craig Russell. Voodoo priestesses, the murder of the most beautiful woman in Hollywood, and the scariest movie ever made. That's just the start. Throw in carnival psychopaths, crooked cops, and a press agent heroine who is in way over hear head and you've got a great read.

I've been thinking about reading The Reformatory. Hope it lives up to the positive feedback I've been seeing.
