Not sure if I just missed it, but I don't recall ever seeing a subreddit for this. I absolutely adore automation games and it's great to see people discussing and recommending them!

Btw I really recommend Infinifactory (and all other games made by the same dev), they really scratch that itch in bite sized amounts for when you're too daunted by large projects like factorio and co

I like these kind of video game communities, ones that are about a genre or subgenre and not just one game. It makes the community more active when there is more than one game to discuss.

I made it because I don't like the empty very specific communities on lemmy/kbin so I thought we'd need something a little bit more general ^^

If anyone wants to mod as well, please ask me!

I've been addicted Automachef & Shapez. Learning Factory also much appreciated. Infinifactory added to my to-do-list 👍

Infinifactory is truly a gem!

Good reminder to unpack Automachef once again...

Thanks for posting this, I would never have known this group existed otherwise!

I've really been loving the sort all by new algorithm on Lemmy. Feels like there's so much variety

Sounds great, I haven't quite figured out how to get it working on kbin. I think the sorting isn't quite working yet, but there is already so much variety even with the top and 'front-page'.
