Is it concerning that my first thought is "Oh no!"?

I love Firefox, and think that it is a critical part of keeping the web open and user-friendly but a lot of the new stuff they have been doing, especially around the UI has felt unnecessary at best, and often a downgrade.

Same honestly. AFAIK they're about to remove the "compact view" option which a ton of people are mad at.

Oh no! Compact mode have been very helpful for the devices with smaller screens... Bugger!

Yeah there was a lot of anger at Mozilla because (apparently) even the devs objected to removing it, but the management insisted for some reason.
