Checked off the part of his contract to say something nice about the Saudi Pro League ✅

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

500k in the bank for that.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah it must be that, Ngolo pretty much never said anything publicly when he was still playing in the prem.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

FC25 career mode is gonna be interesting. “Alex moves to Saudi Arabia”

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

yeah, he managed to have a sly dig at Ligue 1's best team, PSG who are Qatari owned too. Double bonus coming Kante's way

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (5 children)

How could he know? Last time he played in Ligue 1 was almost 10 years ago.

Anyway I don't wanna any player who play in this league in our NT. He is 32 years old it's time to move on.

One of the best midfielders of his generation probably knows a thing or two about football you'd think especially having played in the league.

Anyway I don't wanna any player who play in this league in our NT.

Surely, Deschamps is taking notes.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Oh, I guess he's able to make a precise ranking of all leagues in the planet, then.

Even those he didn't play in in the last 10 years.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Being a great footballer doesn't always translate to giving sensible opinions on football. We've seen this time and time again

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Anyway I don't wanna any player who play in this league in our NT.

You seem to be under a mistaken impression that you get a say in who gets select into the NT. Such an unfortunate misconception to have.

I think at least give him till the euros before giving him the shove. Similar to Henderson, playing in Saudi league is a massive downgrade but their skills don't dissappear overnight. It's not like they are 38 or something. Perhaps someone in the locker room with veteran presence coming off the bench.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

he’s only 32 !? i thought he was around 35

Ligue 1 for vegans

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I mean, league 1 is pretty shitty. On that we can agree.

This feels like a dig at Lugue 1

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Tbh he said the top 5 matches which I don’t find to be too out of pocket overall. The Al Hilal squad would do damage in Europe if they had the right coaching and right complementary players

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

So if they had better players and coaches they would be a better team? mind blowing stuff.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Tbh I didn’t say “better” but “right” specially as in the right players for European football.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Right players for a squad literally means they make the squad better so in your own context better and right is the same thing

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

You must feel privileged interacting with Michael Owen

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It would definitely do damage in Argentina

20mil bonus per week to say 1 nice thing about Saudi. Probably have a calendar reminder on his phone.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Knowing Kante he probably would say it without extrapay famously nice

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

People might think you're joking, but they do pay for positive social media posts, so wouldn't be a stretch to pay for positive words in interviews.

I assume you watch full games of both L1 & Saudi League each weekend.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He only mentioned the top 5 of the saudi, and he play in ligue 1 like 10 years ago, for all we know he is talking about club like evian

Well, Saudi league is better than J League in the AFC Ranking, and the J League is very good at developing young talents, so the Saudi league must have at least some quality in it. Saudi players don't go abroad, so people often discredit their league in the past

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Really ? Because I’ve heard good things about the J League in terms of technicality. I’ve watched a handful of Saudi games this season and I can tell you the overall level is really really bad, especially tactically

Neymar was right after all

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

No he wasn't

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

he is a honest guy , so thats probably true as well

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

300k a week would certainly get most people saying these sorts of lies. Equivalent to Ligue 1. LOL

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

League 1 for sure enjoys its reputation more and more

"I have not been mistreated. They have given us food and water. I am surprised by the level of the Saudi Pro League."

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Saudi agriculture sector must be booming

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It’s a strong league to be fair.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ligue 1, that league that has famously not been seen as lesser than Europe's other top leagues.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

and he earned at least 1 mil by saying this nice promotion man

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

League One.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ligue 1 files defamation lawsuit

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

It's clear that the players who went there have dropped their level of competitiveness and quality when they come back to play for their national team. Lebanon Robinson (what was his name?) Is rubbish, Nimmer (what was his face?) is a step or two slower, and even Chris Ronaldinho (is that the guy?) is quite bad, comparatively.
So Kanté's preference to play in the big derby between Al Gore and Al Yankovic is actually pathetic.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He hasnt played in Ligue 1 for years?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

$50 millions to Kante !!!!!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Top Saudi teams are probably close to relegation teams of Ligue 1. Saudi teams have more star players, but Relegation teams have more balanced squads.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why are you being sensible on this thread? You were supposed to trash him and pretend Clermont is much better than Club World Cup finalists Al Hilal.
